Want free Ribbon?

Great time to buy some Stampin, Up! supplies, for each $60.00 you spend you receive a reel of the gorgeous In Color Ribbon.  Now what to choose first is my question as I want them all.

Well I have to be realistic as I don’t work full-time as I want to craft heaps, so I could just go place myself a small order now, like the $60.00 and Hey, I will get a free ribbon, next which color is my fav?  How do we choose when they are all so nice?

Well for me, Pink is my just favourite color, so looks like I have chosen.

Tea Shoppe

Tea Shoppee #125547, Page 57 was in the Mini Catalogue and carried over into the Main 2012-2013 catalogue. I have been playing with an idea I have for this set, but as yet havent mastered it.

If you haven’t bought any of the new foam ink pads, I would love to demonstrate mine with you if you would like to come to my classes that I run on a Friday morning in Minchinbury.

A Blooming Beauty

The Blooming with Kindness is such a delightful stamp to use and has some wonderful saying that make up this set.  The set is on page 87 of the new Stampin’ Up! Catalogue 2012-2013.  Clear mount is # 126442 and the cost is $31.95 and will give you endless uses.  On mine card here i used the one that says “Hope is a wish with a little more CLOUT” which I had embossed with the Silver Embossing Powder.  I love embossing, but then is that because I am an older stamper?

This was one of the cards that we made on Friday’s class in Minchinbury with my special ladies.  We used the new In Color of Midnight Muse ink pad and our Blender Pen to drag the color and add definition to the flower.  Such easy card but quite effective.

Hope you like it.

Perfectly Preserved Autumn Leaves

I was a little hesident about buying this set called Perfectly Preserved until the weekend that we had a team training and the fabulous Narelle Macey lent her set to Teneale Williams and Teneale as she often does, did a great job with it.

The Set is called, “Perfectly Preserved”  Page 29 of the Holiday Catalogue is $39.95 for the clear mount set #126692, but there is more, Stampin” Up! have combined it with the fabulous Framelits Dies $42.95 singly, or buy the Perfectly Preserved Bundle for $70.50, that’s a saving of $12.50 or you could buy yourself a packed of cardstock with the saving.  What a bargain!

I will be using my “perfectly preserved” in some other cards that I have in mind, so don’t forget to come check them out.

I used the leave out of the another stamp set, lets see if you can guess the stamp set?   Now not sure what they call it, think its called Blog Candy, what could I give that might entice you to left a message for me with the name of the leaves that I used on this card.  What about 2 metres of the beautiful seam binding for the correct answer.

Please drive safe this weekend, double demerit points.

Beautiful Wedding

On Saturday I attended the Wedding of a delightful young lady Courtney Price, whom I known since she was a small baby and had the privilege of watching her grow into a delightful young lady. It was one of the nicest weddings I have been too.

Now a beautiful bride deserves a beautiful card, so what do you think, did my card fit the bill?  I used the very beautiful Papaya Collage stamp set out of the New 2012-2013 catalogue, it’s on page 75 and is $44.95, (126612).  It’s a really beautiful set that has the Rose, Butterfly and Frame in it to name a few.

I cannot take the credit for this card, it was taught in a class by the very talented Teneale Williams who regularly runs card making classes weekly.  Whilst Teneale taught one for a 60th Wedding anniversary, I had changed mine to a wedding card for Courtney.

Stamps: Papya Collage {NEW Page 75}, Memorable Moments {NEW 139} and French Foliage
Ink: VersaMark, White Craft, Primrose Petals, Crumb Cake and Old Olive
Cardstock: Primrose Petals, Crumb Cake and Old Olive
Accessories: Blender Pen, Clear Embossing powder, Old Olive Satin Ribbon {retired}, Pearls and Crumb Cake Tulle {Holiday Catty Page 4}

Many Thanks

This is the second lot of Thank you Cards made for the guys that helped on the BBQ day at the school.

I used ivory cardstock and stamped down the stamp set called “My Friend” using the new in colour Gumball Green.  Nice little set and so easy to use.  Its $36.95 on page 122 of the new Stampin’ Up! 2012-2013 Catalogue.  Want your own catalogue, please contact me.

I call these my 5 minute card, hey if you’re doing multiple cards, they need to be 5 minutes.  That’s my thoughts anyway.

Thanks for your help-Awash with Flowers

Recently there were some Council Elections and my daughter being the kind person that she is, plus being the President of the P&C ran a BBQ at South St Marys Public School as a fund-raiser.  She had lots of great helpers on the day and wants to write a note of thanks to them.

Isn’t she lucky that she has such a great mum to make her some cards.  I made her some for the ladies using the retired Stamp Set called “Awash with Flowers” its such a great stamp set and you can be sure that I will be using it again soon.  If you would like one of your own sets, please contact me for a great price on this set which i still have in my stash.

I used the Very Vanilla Cardstock mounted on Marina Mist.  Bye for now
