Here is the sketch that we had to work with, pity I didn’t check it out before posting my post I can see two little spots that I don’t have…………………….hang my head in shame. Anyway let’s go see what I have for you
I used a combination of the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits and the tie Dyed stamp set to create a snazzy congratulations card.
Now its off to see what sweet little Renee has created for us.
Don’t forget to leave comments, we all love them, good or ………………
Welcome to the 50th Inkspired Artists Blog Hop, Wow you say a big Salebration time wouldn’t you say? If your just started with me, welcome. You may have started at another blogger and jumped to me from Maree and I wonder what she has made for us. Its always great to hop around and see what your other colleagues have made.
Here is a copy of our sketch below that Teneale has made for us.
When I looked at this sketch straight away I thought a flower instead of heart. I choose to use the Oh So Succulent Bundle, love love love it. Then because of the layering thought, Succulent Garden Designer Series Papers, they are so so pretty.
I also choose to use the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder, if you haven’t seen it, get your demonstrator to show you. I used this for the white background on my card to give nice texture. I used the reverse side and you can see how great it looks.
I used Mint Maccaron as my cardbase and used the Sweet Sugarplum for the flower.
Hope you like my card and now lets hop around and see what the others have made for you, beginning with Teneale.
Don’t forget to leave a comment, we all love them.
On Saturday 28th January at 1.30 I am holding my regular Saturday Cardmaking class, these are two of the cards that we will be making as well as beautiful card using the Dragon Fly Dreams stamp set. It’s a nice relaxing afternoon, where common like people come together to chat and stamp.
You need to bring your own basic tools including double-sided tape, foam tape and liquid glue if that’s your favourite.

Welcome to this fortnight Inkspired Artist Bloghop 49. Just a small group this week, everyone is trying to get the families settled and back to school.
If your come for another blog, its most likely Maree who is much more organised than me and had hers made before now. Cannot wait to see what she has done.
Me being me never look at the sketch properly and went ahead and made my card, then decided to go check the sketch again, and guess what, I had made landscape instead of square, so had to go and remake…………………then I missed that it had an outline above the sentiment. I am just the worst, lets say its my eye sight instead of age………lol
So should we just go and check it out, right.
I choose the Affectionately Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper which is just beautiful with its foil sheet, which I have used. There is also Washi Tape, which I used under the whisper white greeting….. and a strip of Daffodil Delight as well.
I embossed the greeting which is form the new Occasions Catalogue called Birthday Blast.
Who has friends that you have kept in contact with since Kindergarten? Well I have many long friends, but not dating back 65 years…………..lol I have made this for my dear friend Betty, who I meet in Kindy and when through school and she is having her birthday in 3 days time. Even more exciting is that I am going to spend the weekend with her and her husband in Cowra in 3 weeks time. I am sure she will just love this card, don’t you?
Now your off to check out what lissa has in store for us today. I know she has been super busy, so let’s go see.
Wow 2017 already, what an exciting year this is going to be for me as I am of traveling in May and June visiting Spain Portugal and Rome as well as a Mediterranean Cruise. How exciting is that?
Another excited thing is that Salebration and a New Occasions Catalogue was just launched last week. So as this is the first back and I think some of the girls have forgotten, anyway lets see who is around. Its Bloghop 48 and if your come from another blog its most likely Maree McIntosh –
Lets go see what I have come up with, I wanted to somehow incorporate the use of the stamps from the Occassions Catalouge, so choose to use the Nailed Bundle, this is sold with stamps and dies as a bundle. I am in love with it as my ladies always say that its hard to make male cards.
I used the paper out of the Urban Underground Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Washi Tape from the same series. An there is a new Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, just fantastic.
I coloured the tools with some ink and my aqua painter, giving them a more realistic look and mounted them on a piece of card stock that had been run through the bigshot.
On the inside just put a happy birthday greeting and a little spanner to finish it off.
Hope you enjoy them, don’t for get to leave a comment, we all love to know that your seen our work, thanks
Next your off to see what Lissa has made for you, I am sure your going to love it.
