Pendant Parade Punch

Pendant Parade Punch

This is a card that I made using the Pendant Punch, wanted to show some ladies the usefulness of using a punch to cut out, as it had been commented to me that they could just cut out some triangles to make flags.

The colours used are Real Red, Bashful Blue, Pear Pazzaz and Pacific Point.

I used the wonderful markers to colour in the Celebrate.  Card stock was Real Red and Whisper White.  Enjoy will be back tomorrow.

Array of Sunshine – Louise Sharp

Array of Sunshine – Louise Sharp

At a recent Team Training night, had the fortunate opportunity to meet a young lady who is really like a little ray of Sunshine, who has joined the our Stampin Up Team. She had made and brought to the meeting a lovely card using this stamp set and gave it to her upline.

Now it isn’t the same as mine, but she inspired me with how she went about making it.  Team meetings are great aren’t they, lets a lot of fellow stamper’s share ideas.   This is my spin on her card, i choose the colours of Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise, Lucky Limeade and Wiseria Wonder…………..such yummy colours.  Created my own designer papers with the stamps from the Array of Sunshine, a lovely hostess stamp set that is available to anyone who hosts a workshop of and reaches the qualifying amount.

Hope you like this card.  Thanks for looking.

Two Quick Cards

Two Quick Cards

Another set of quick cards that I made using some designer papers. We created two different cards, this one with my favourite little boxes and the other one was paper cutting a certain flower from the designer paper and mounting it in a card front.

Learnt my lesson, they are quick cards, but my ladies were able to complete them super quickly, so I had to think on my feet and give them another one without a sample. They come through with flying colours and I will now make them slightly harder or is it more detailed.

Age Card for Boys

Age Card for Boys

I was recently asked if some of my ladies could make some age cards for children.

This is what I came up with, very easy and great for markets.  I used the a background stamp with Versa Mark to add texture to the card, sponged the sides with Versa Mark then using Black Stays On I stamp out the Happy numbers form the stamp set called, “Bring on the Cake”.

I also did a Pink version of this, see below.

Sale a bration – Fresh Vintage Stamp

Sale a bration – Fresh Vintage Stamp

Sale a bration, which I refer to as celebration is a great time for stamper’s to purchase Stampin Up products. This year is no exception opps it is an exceptional year as Stampin Up have also included Designer Series Papers and Ribbons and Brads to the collection.

For this card I have used both Fresh Vintage Stamp Set, 125117 and the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Papers.  I used Crumb Cake as the basis for my card, trimmings Calypso Coral and the beautiful Velvet Ribbon.  The Velvet Ribbon is in the Mini Catalogue.

Enjoy and good night, or in my case, good morning, its 4 am and I should be in B E D

Set Sail to the Open Sea

Set Sail to the Open Sea

The Open Sea is one of the best male stamps that Stamping up have ever made, for me its a keeper.

The stamp set is No 123032 and its on $39.05 for the clear stamps.  I used Not Quite Navy, Crumb Cake and Vanila Cardstock and Inks as well as Versa Mark.  the other stamp set that i used was the Perfectly Penned, No 122892 in the clear mount for only $25.95, what a bargain and you get 4 stamps in the set.  I have used the Happy Birthday, as I get lots of requests for Male Birthday Cards at my Markets.

This card was inspired again by Teneale Williams, who had made it in a class, but hey she is such a great up-line that she is happy helping her team.

I am making this card on friday the 17 Feb 2012 time 10am, at the Creative Spirit Centre.  If you would like to attend.  Please check out their website at http://www.creativespiritcentre.com.au

Beautiful Butterflies

Beautiful Butterflies

Butterflies, oldie stamp set that i just couldn’t part if as I watched my little grand-daughter do such a great job of making a card for her mum. No she didn’t use the squares, she did however do a great job and it made me want to keep it in my stash. Have to say my stash is growing at an alarming rate. You could however use the gorgeous butterfly that comes in the “Creative Elements” stamp set. The number of this set is 122647 and the price is $49.95 plus postage. Email me if you would like to purchase it.

Can you see the endless possibilities with this stamp set and my square punches.   I promise this is my last red card, so don’t forget to drop by again, I promise to put date more regular.

Better go, need to book for conference………….yeah so excited to be going again this year.

For You

For You

I used my favourite Stamp Set, “Creative Elements” for this card in Real Red, again it was in my selection that could be used for Valentines Day, but not limited to Valentines Day.

I have to say I love the impression that this stamp set makes and punching it out with both the 1 1/4 punch than mounting on a piece punch out with the 1 3/8 punch is so easy and effective.

Valentine’s Day Need for Speed

Well, I definitely didn’t have the need for speed, have it as its Valentines day today.

I have a number of cards that could be used for Valentine’s day, but could also be used for other occasions, so thought i would post them here for you all.

Now for the very first time every my husband gave me a Valentine’s Card, it was made by http://tenealewilliams.com.au/ and as you know she is my daughter.  It was very sweet of her to help her dad.  He had labelled the envelope, “to the girl of my dreams” now how cute is that?  If that wasn’t enough he put inside it that he loves me more now after 40 something years then he did on day 1.

Now how cute is that.  thought i had best get a card to him…………mmmmm what do give then I thought of this one, what do you think?

Need for Speed

Need for Speed

Looks great I think all ready for the race.  Use the bakers twine as the starting line.  Mounted this on a sheet of the designer paper of Soft Suede gives a little effect of newspaper don’t you think?  Mounted this onto Early Espresso card stock before using stamin dimensional to pop it up.

Stamps and supplies used were, Stampin up Need for Speed Stamp Set, #122717, $29.95, Stampin Up Extreme Elements 121510 47.95

Card stock used was Pear Pizzazz, Soft Suede and Naturals Ivory and the Natural Designer Series Neutrals Collection Paper Pad.

Versa Mark, Pear Pizzazz and Soft Suede.  Bakers Twine in Soft Suede.  I will be teaching this technique at the Creative Spirit Centre on Friday 3 Rd Feb 2012 at 10am.  Please contact me to make a booking.
